Guidelines
- Don't bag recyclables
- All recyclables must be placed in a cart.
- Close the can lid completely.
- Set collection cart three feet from other carts.
- Recycling carts are assigned to a property address. Do not remove carts.

Cans & Glass
The following types of cans and glass can be accepted:
- Aluminum cans
- Bottles
- Jars
- Food and beverage containers
- Juice and milk boxes
- Lids from jars and metal cans
- Tin, steel, and bi-metal cans
Paper & Cartons
The following types of paper and cartons can be accepted:
- Cardboard
- Catalogs
- Magazines
- Cereal boxes
- Frozen food packages
- Junk mail
- Newspapers
- Newspaper inserts
- Paperback books
- Paper grocery bags
- Phone books
- Shoe boxes
- Shredded paper
Plastics
The following types of plastics can be accepted:
- All bottles and jugs
- Recycle codes 1 through 7 (marked on bottom of container)
Items Not Accepted
The following items are not accepted and should not be placed in your recycling cart:
- Hazardous materials
- Waxed containers
- Garbage
- Automotive fluids
- Garden chemicals or hoses
- Paint products
- Cleaners
- Fluorescent lamps
- Broken glass, window mirror, or plate glass
- Pie tins
- Light bulbs
- Used motor oil containers
- Plastic bags
- Styrofoam
- Plastic toys
- Aerosol cans
